Retrieve voicemail messages
Read authorized messages and decode available audio.
Confirm mailbox scope
Ask A1ROUTES to confirm the mailboxes and filters available to the integration. Only proceed when the assigned API key has the correct access.
Find and retrieve a message
List voicemail messages, select an authorized message identifier, then retrieve its audio. Confirm the response envelope before reading message_base64.
Decode and store
Check that the field contains valid Base64 before decoding. Store the resulting bytes privately and use the actual audio type reported by your deployment. Do not expose credentials or raw authenticated URLs in playback links.
Preserve message state
This guide only reads messages. It does not mark messages as read, delete them, or change mailbox settings.
